About Oath Taking

15th Oath Taking Ceremony 2026 · Kulliyyah of Dentistry, IIUM Kuantan

The Oath Taking Ceremony has been held since the pioneer batch of the Kulliyyah of Dentistry finished their studies in 2012. This ceremony is held to congratulate the students after completing the 5 years of studying dentistry, as well as celebrating them in becoming new dentists. This year, the session will be for the 15th batch of dentistry students. Parents, guardians and other family members are also invited to attend and celebrate the event.

Objectives

• Inculcate the sense of responsibility among the graduating students by undertaking their oath as a Muslim dentist.
• Celebrating the new graduates of the 15th batch of Kulliyyah of Dentistry students.

On the day

The ceremony opens with registration and the photography session, and closes after the recitation of doa. The full itinerary — speeches, conferment of the oath certificates, the oath itself and the awards — is published on the programme page.
